Write to support →The app version and build number appear at the bottom of More. Also include your iPhone model, iOS version, the steps that produced the problem, and whether it repeats. Please remove permit confirmation numbers and other private details from screenshots.
Trip Recording does not start automatically. If you want a background track, tap Start and follow the iOS permission prompts. If it stops unexpectedly, check the app’s location permission in iOS Settings and include your battery mode and iOS version in the support note. Do not send a GPX unless it is needed to diagnose the issue and you are comfortable sharing the coordinates it contains.
The app is independent and cannot change a permit, confirm current trail conditions or make an official boundary determination. Use the official Recreation.gov permit page and the managing Forest Service district for current rules. For the live drive, use MileCheck road closures.
The app and this inbox are not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 if service is available and use the emergency and backcountry communication plan you arranged before the trip.
