Machine-readable copies
These are the data snapshots distributed with the August 2026 app build. The OpenStreetMap-derived database components are offered under ODbL 1.0. Other facts and elevation fields retain the source terms described inside each file.
What these files do—and do not—mean
The traverse is a crowd-sourced mapped line, not a surveyed track. Distance is measured along that line and likely reads shorter than a real walk. Elevation is modeled from terrain data, not surveyed. Permit-zone polygons are useful for general orientation but are not official legal boundary determinations. The Forest Service and Recreation.gov remain the authorities for current rules.
